Description

This course is required training for qualification as a Strike Team or Task Force Leader, under the California Incident Command Certification System (CICCS). This course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to perform in the position of Strike Team/Task Force Leader. Topics include position overview; pre-deployment responsibilities; concept of the position; resource typing standards; pre-dispatch preparation; incident responsibilities; administration; supervision; response; assignment; demobilization; tactics and safety; risk management; entrapment avoidance; WUI; case studies; scenarios; appropriate action vs. freelancing.

Fees

$150.00 (includes certificate)

No refund will be given if the student does not attend and/or cancels 13 (or less) calendar days prior to the start of class. Cancellations must be e-mailed to firereservations@theacademy.ca.gov.

Students will be required to register with Cabrillo College for the Spring Term. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact our office. Registration forms will be collected on the first day of the class.

All classes require full payment or a designated deposit at time of reservation. We accept Visa and MasterCard (a transaction fee of 2% will apply), cash, money order and cashier's check (made payable to SBRPSTC). Agency billing may also be arranged.
